✨ THE DAY OF THE LORD: WHEN LIGHT BREAKS THROUGH DARKNESS.

🌅 In the Beginning… There Was Light

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth… And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” — Genesis 1:1–5

“In the beginning was the Word… In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.” — John 1:1–5

Something powerful is happening in these two passages—and it’s easy to miss if you just read past them.

In Genesis, light appears before the sun, moon, and stars.In John, we discover that this light is not natural—it is life, and that life is found in Jesus Christ.

This means the first light ever released into creation was not sunlight…It was the light of God’s glory.

And God called that light DAY.

👉 This is the first revelation:“The Day” is not just a time period—it is the manifestation of divine light.

🔥 The Hidden Mystery of Creation

Let’s go deeper.

John pulls back the curtain on Genesis and shows us something profound:

“In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.”

Before Jesus ever took on flesh (John 1:14), He existed as a spirit being—the eternal Word. And in Him was life.

But what is that life?

According to Scripture, the life of the spirit is revealed as LIGHT.

• In the natural → life is in the blood (Leviticus 17:11)

• In the spirit → life is light

🔥 That means God is the Father of a race of beings whose spiritual “bloodline” is light.

Not symbolic light.Not poetic light.Real, divine, powerful light.

The same light that flooded the universe in Genesis 1.

🌌 Why Was It Still Dark?

Here’s the question that unlocks everything:

If Jesus (the Light) was present in Genesis…why was there still darkness?

The answer is a mystery revealed later in the New Testament:

👉 The light was there—but it was hidden.

“Your life is hid with Christ in God.” — Colossians 3:3

The life = the lightAnd that light can be hidden.

Even though:

• God was present

• Jesus was present

• The Spirit was moving

➡️ It was still dark… until something happened:

God spoke.

🗣️ Light Is Activated by Words… But Released by Love

God said: “Let there be light.”And light responded.

But here’s what many miss:

Even today, you can be:

• Speaking the Word

• Confessing faith

• Declaring promises

…and still experience darkness.

Why?

Because light is not just activated by faith—it is released by love.

“He that loves his brother abides in the light…” — 1 John 2:10

❤️ The Missing Key: LOVE

Let’s make it plain:

• Love is not a feeling → it is an action

• Hate is not a feeling → it is anything not done in love

“Hatred stirs up strife: but love covers a multitude of sins.” — Proverbs 10:12

⚠️ Strife = a manifestation of darkness✅ Love = the release of divine light

You can quote Scripture all day…But if you’re walking in:

• Offense

• Division

• Strife

➡️ You are blocking the light.

⚡ The Day of the Lord Is NOW

Many people think the “Day of the Lord” is only:

• Judgment

• Destruction

• A future event

But there’s another dimension:

🔥 The Day of the Lord is whenever His light manifests.

Jesus said:

“I must work the works of Him that sent me… while it is day… I am the light of the world.” — John 9:4–5

In other words:

👉 Wherever Jesus is… it is DAY👉 Wherever His light is released… darkness loses

And here’s the powerful truth:

✨ That same light is now in YOU.

👑 You Are a Carrier of Light

“I am come that they might have life…” — John 10:10

That life = LIGHT

If you are born again:

• You are part of God’s family

• You carry His nature

• You have light in your spiritual veins

🔥 This is not symbolic—this is spiritual reality.

You are:

• A son of God

• An heir of divine power

• A vessel of creative light

🌍 What This Light Does

This light is not passive—it is active power.

It:

• 💥 Destroys sickness

• 💰 Attracts provision

• 🔥 Burns away darkness

• 🌱 Produces spiritual fruit

“Arise, shine; for thy light is come… and the Gentiles shall come to thy light.” — Isaiah 60

When the light shines:

• People are drawn

• Resources flow

• Darkness cannot remain

🔑 How to Activate the Light in Your Life

Here’s the blueprint:

1. Speak the Word in Faith

Release what God has said.

2. Walk in Love (THIS IS THE KEY)

Guard your heart from:

• Strife

• Bitterness

• Division

3. Abide in the Light

“Walk in the light…” — Ephesians 5:8

4. Let It Shine Boldly

Don’t hide what God placed in you.

✨ Final Charge: WALK IN THE LIGHT

This is your moment.

This is your revelation.

This is your activation.

👉 The same light from Genesis👉 The same light revealed in Christ👉 The same light that overcomes darkness

…is in you.

So I leave you with this:

🔥 Walk in the light, my friends.🔥 Release it. Activate it. Live in it.

Because wherever that light shines…
